¶ Packaging and Contents
- Protective Carry Case: A durable storage solution for your Purge when not in use, or to hold four of your favorite pints.

¶ Purge Exterior:
- Top Lens: Clear UV-rated polycarbonate lens with LED indicator lights, permanently attached to the top housing.
- Top Housing: Orange UV-rated polycarbonate body, removable by twisting counter-clockwise.
- Bottom Housing: 316 stainless steel base with a 1.5" tri-clamp sanitary process fitting.
- Relief Vents: Four vents to allow gas to exhaust while maintaining positive pressure against the sensing membrane.
- Sensing Membrane: Optical sensing capsule with an oxygen-permeable Teflon membrane.
The membrane is sensitive to alcohol-based cleaners. Clean only with 3% hydrogen peroxide. Failure to follow these instructions can lead to permanent damage to the sensing membrane, preventing oxygen from entering the sensing chamber, voiding the warranty, and requiring replacement or repair of the sensing capsule. Refer to the Use & Care page for more details.

¶ Purge Interior:
- Top Housing: Removable cover for battery exchanges.
- Internal O-ring: Viton™ sealing ring, can be re-greased as necessary.
- Battery Clip: Removable clip that securely holds the battery in place.
- Electronics Cover: Protects sensitive electronics from accidental damage during battery changes.
- LED Alert System: Red, green, and blue LEDs used during sensor operation.

¶ BrewOps Purge Tee Adapter
- Tri-clamp: Two 1.5" sanitary tri-clamp fittings.
- Gasket: Two EPDM 1.5" tri-clamp gaskets.
- Tank Flange: 1.5" connection to tank CIP arm/exhaust.
- Sensor Flange: 1.5" connection to BrewOps Purge.
- Reducer: Permanent back pressure reducer.
¶ Installation
¶ Step 1: Install the BrewOps Purge
Install the BrewOps Purge onto the elbow of the custom tee. Ensure that the Purge and custom tee are oriented vertically (as shown in the image on the right) to prevent liquid from pooling against the sensing membrane.
¶ Step 2: Attach to Brew Tank
Attach the Purge and custom tee to the CIP arm of the tank, ensuring all other exhaust ports are closed so that all gas exits from the same place.
¶ Step 3: Start Your Purge
Begin purging your tank and ensure you can hear and feel gas escaping from the four small vent holes on the Purge. The custom tee's permanent taper provides back pressure to keep gas flowing out of the vent holes, which also helps reduce turbulence inside the tank. For very small tanks, if the taper does not provide enough back pressure, seal off the taper or replace the custom tee with an elbow or standard tee with a blank.

¶ BrewOps Can Cooler
¶ Step 1: Remove Contents
Remove the contents of the case along with the protective foam inserts.
¶ Step 2: Secure Your Brews
Secure four of your favorite brews with the velcro straps to keep them snug and safe.
¶ Step 3: Open and Enjoy
Once you’ve reached your destination, open the case and enjoy your perfectly chilled beverages!
